- Central, East and South East Asia is a vast region with a huge and rich variety of musical tradition, much of it little known in the West. The distance also means that exported traditional instruments are few and far between. Ironically, many of our guitars, keyboards and 'latin' percussion instruments are now made in China, Thailand or Vietnam but their own local instruments remain relatively unknown over here
- We can offer a good range of gongs, singing bowls, buddhist bells, cymbals, drums and hand percussion , and we are working on expanding the range whenever we can track down reliable supplies
- We also have a great range of fair trade Vietnamese hand percussion, beautifully carved in the shape of birds, fish, frogs and lotus flowers, as well as bell rings, lotus flutes and dan moi jaw harps
