The history and background of the songs and instruments encourages children to identify aspects of cultural development from the native instruments and songs of Australian Aborigines to the cultural fusions of African Americans and how they have influenced music in those countries
“Karen, introduced the children and teachers to an array of world music and instruments. Sessions were hands-on, exciting and involved everyone, especially during our celebration assembly where Karen and the children led the school and parents in singing traditional songs. I would certainly recommend this workshop to others schools.”
