Frame Drums

This is where we gather together all those drums which use a shallow frame for their structure. From the familiar tambour and tambourine and the Irish bodhran, through to Native American style 'buffalo' drums (actually made by Remo using non-animal, synthetic drum heads), and ocean drums which mimic the sound of the sea.

Our shaman style drums are similar to the buffalo drums but made with natural hide heads in India, and include a stitched leather beater. Good quality padded bags made by Ritter are on offer to keep your precious drum safe and, as usual, we've trawled the publishers to bring the best in tuition materials in CD, DVD or book form.
