Udus
Udu pot drums originated among the Ibo people of West Africa in the area that is now Nigeria, and are found throughout the diaspora, primarily Brazil. Not very loud, so low annoyance factor, and often favoured by experimental percussionists It's an expressive instrument with a deep bass (like Indian tabla) from one hole, and mid tone 'wow' from the other hole. The body can also be played, though that style is more associated with the Indian Ghattam.
