Help using our site

Our new site has been designed to make your shopping experience as simple and quick as possible. In particular, we want you to know how much the shipping will be to your part of the world at an early stage of the process. You can navigate to the product you are looking for either by clicking on the links or using our simple Search Facility.

Searching for a product

Our product database can be easily searched so you can find what you’re looking for easily and quickly. Simply enter the search word / phrase in the search text box and click submit.
Once you click submit the site will run a search on our database of products and direct you to a results page where you can view the basic product information or click through to further details and buying options.

Browsing for a product

Our products are split into main categories and sub categories from Instruments through to Special Offers. Use the menu structure on the left hand side, by clicking on a category you will be taken to the categories introduction page, you should then click on a sub category to view the available products.

How to place an order

1. Browse or search for your required item (as explained above).

2. Add the product to your shopping basket by clicking on the image 'Add To Basket'. You will then be sent to the basket review page where you will see the product in the shopping basket. Click on the link 'Continue Shopping' to add more items to your basket. Please note that putting items in your basket does not commit you to buying them. You are only committed to buying once you reach the card checkout page and click ‘Send Encrypted Order’. Up until then you can window shop or fantasy shop to your heart’s content!
At any stage whilst shopping you can return to view your basket by clicking on the basket link at the top of every page.
You can amend the quantity ordered of a particular item by entering the required number in the Qty column and clicking 'Update'. To remove an item from the basket simply click the remove checkbox next to the item you no longer require.

Login / Register as a new customer

In order to complete your order you must register as a customer on our site. You will only need to complete this page once, then on future visits to the site you will be able to log in with your email address and password. Whilst this means storing this information for your future convenience we will never release customer details or email addresses to any third party. Please note that we do not store your credit card information.

If you are a returning customer simply enter your email address and password to login. If you have forgotten your password we also have a reminder by email feature.

Once you have successfully logged in, please review your basket details and when you're ready to finalise your order click on the proceed with secure card payment link.

You will now be taken to our secure pages where you will see a padlock at the bottom of your browser window. Simply enter your card details and then click send order. This will send us a secure encrypted email with your order and card details.

Shortly after placing your order you will receive an e-mail confirming the details of the products you ordered. Alternatively, you can print the order out and post or fax it to us with your card details, a cheque or postal order.

Schools, colleges, hospitals etc

Schools, colleges, hospitals and certain other organisations can post or fax their orders with an official order form. We will then send the goods with an invoice which gives you 30 days to pay. If in doubt about whether you qualify for a credit account, get in touch.
