Description
The Large Madal Drum is a traditional hand-played percussion instrument central to Nepalese folk music. Crafted from solid wood with two natural drum heads, it produces rich, resonant tones that bring depth and energy to any rhythm.
Widely used in festivals, dances, and cultural celebrations across Nepal, the madal is played horizontally with both hands. This larger version offers greater volume and tonal range, making it ideal for performers, music teachers, or serious collectors of world instruments.
Handmade in Nepal by skilled artisans, each madal reflects a heritage of music, craftsmanship, and cultural expression. A powerful piece for both playing and display.
