- Percussion Plus metallophones are similarly constructed and tuned to their glockenspiels, but produce a slightly mellower, warm sound. Manufactured in their UK factory from carefully selected timber and with thirteen aluminium notes, this strong and sturdy Soprano Metallophone provides the player with a fantastic deep resonance from its four resonating sound chambers.
- Great care and attention has been made in the production of this instrument to ensure that the quality of finish and tuning is perfect and our Perfect Pitch instruments are always sprayed red to identify them as genuine Percussion Plus products.
- This instrument has followed strict precision tuning control to A440 (pitch standard). This standard of tuning is applied to their educational ranges, not just the professional instruments making them the first choice for schools or players requiring their instruments to be note perfect. Once played, other Metallophones will just not sound the same.
- The PP017 can be accompanied with a PP018 Soprano Chromatic Half Metallophone to make a fully chromatic soprano instrument.
