Cas-cas or asalato – a traditional West African instrument. Cas Cas shakers are typically made from gourds filled with beans and are played in most African countries.
A super lightweight percussion instrument where one gourd is held in the hand and the other is swung from side to side around the hand to 'clack' against the first.
