Papilio, with a name derived from the resemblance of its elegant shape to that of the Butterfly, is a tubular bell type metallophone constructed using notes of anodised aluminium tubes, suspended by stainless steel cables and supported by a stainless steel frame

Strong, weather-proof and durable, the notes on the Cavatina are arranged as a traditional xylophone or glockenspiel with low to high notes going from left to right. Diatonically tuned, its versatility provides a vast range of expression suited to beginners and experienced musicians, performing in even the most challenging outdoor environments.

Set over black resonators, the vibrantly coloured anodized notes are assigned to our rainbow scale and can be combined with one of our Music Books where the notes on the instruments correspond with the coloured notes on the music sheets. Players then follow the colours to play a well-known song.

There are no wires or strings, as the notes are individually and securely attached to a high-density polyethylene backboard below. Black anodized aluminium resonators offer maximum vibration with incredible resonance and durability. Each resonator is individually capped with a polyurethane rain baffle. Finally, stainless steel security fixings deter vandalism and prevent the theft or removal of the instrument.

The instrument is designed for ground or surface installation but can also be wall-mounted. The Cavatina can also be supplied with plain aluminium notes if you'd prefer.

The space-saving wall mounted Rainbow Trio Metallophone is a pentatonically tuned instrument and a great way to foster musical development in young children.

Perfect for nursery schools, pre-schools and kindergartens, this bright and inviting metallophone is easy to securely fix to a wall, fence or play structure and suitable for both indoor and outdoor use. The Rainbow trio metallophone can be purchased on its own or with rainbow trio drums and chimes to make a colourful ensemble.

Chromatic G5-G6

Introducing our vibrant musical dragonfly, elegantly designed in bright blue and green with black accents.

This enchanting creature produces beautiful bell sounds that inspire children to unleash their creativity while enjoying the outdoors. It features a high-pressure laminate (HPL) body and four transparent acrylic wings etched with a network of ‘veins.’ The thorax features 13 aluminum bells tuned to a chromatic scale from G5 to G6, with alternating blue and green bells separated by black bells. The black bells denote the flat and sharp notes.

The dragonfly can be mounted on a stainless-steel post or installed using fixings that can be retrofitted to our existing instruments, play equipment, fences, and walls.

Get ready to explore a fun collection of three Bug-Beats, each bursting with vibrant colors and decreasing in size as you go!

These playful "bugs" produce lively sounds that will spark young imaginations while they discover the wonders of nature.

Each "Bug" features wings made from strong, reinforced hollow polymer, designed like temple blocks, and equipped with notches to create a sensory, ridged surface. As idiophones, they produce sound through the instrument's vibration, with each block's internal space serving as a resonating chamber. When you strike these colorful blocks with a mallet, they generate a fun, loud, echoing sound. Additionally, you can scrape the mallet along the notches to create a ratchet sound similar to that of a güiro. Bug Beats can be mounted on a stainless-steel post or installed using fittings that can be retrofitted to our existing instruments, play equipment, fences, or walls.
