MEINL offers two cuicas made from lightweight aluminum, this is the 6". Their lightweight and solid construction makes them perfect for street Samba.The Samba lineup thrives on our products' diversity in form and sound. Furthermore, the products can be used far beyond pure samba percussion and find creative application in all musical areas.
A cuica, sometimes known as a monkey drum, is a friction drum where you rub the internal stick with a damp cloth!
