Description
These Percussion Plus claves are made from dense maple and produce a sharp but warm clicking tone when they are hit together. The smooth wooden surface and compact size make them comfortable to hold and easy to play. They are also durable, which makes them perfect for use in music classrooms.
Claves are the perfect rhythmic instruments to use in Afro-Cuban music such as rumba, mambo, salsa and Latin jazz. They are often used as an accompaniment with Samba packs, but work just as well alongside djembes as their sharp tone contrasts with the deep drums. Due to their versatility, they are ideal for younger players.
