The Parkstone Melody Saw is available in 2 sizes and is made from fully ground carbon steel 80. This specially made singing saw uses incredibly flexible steel and allows the saw to be played with a bow when placed between the knees. The saw does have teeth but these are NOT sharpened or set as with standard woodcutting saws. We also take around 4″ of the teeth off from the bottom end of the saw to ensure these do not catch on your clothes whilst playing.
The Parkstone Musical Saw Kit contains the Beech Handled version Saw, Bow, Rosin and Cheat (handle that assists bending the saw) complete in a beautifully finished screen printed, fold up kraft box. Box can also then be used as storage for the saw too.

This hardwood Japanese Kokiriko (also known as a pocket rattle) produces a lovely sounding rattle sound and is perfect for smaller children due to smaller size and the fun noise it produces. The sound effect is like falling dominos but lots of other effects and rhythms can be created depending upon how fast or slow it is played

This Percussion Plus handheld bell tree comprises 14 brass bells, or bowls, which range in pitch and are mounted roughly in order on a wooden handle. A glissando effect can be produced by running the supplied mallet across the bells in a down or upward motion. Alternatively, the bells can also be struck individually, with players able to experiment with different melodies and rhythms.
The instrument creates a bright and shimmering sound and is often used to accentuate the start or end of passages of music
