Intricately hand made Peruvian shamanic rattle with a cleansing feather and three woven nuts. 

Used to signal the start of a speech or prayer with large natural seed pods that have been carved hollow and filled with seeds then woven shut which create a delicate ocean sound.

These are super looking, hand painted cass cass in bright colours.You shake them and knock them against each other. A traditional W African instrument made in Bali.

Large shiny metal bells on a strong soft woven band of material. Velcro fastening suitable for the wrist or ankle.

This item has been designed to provide two instruments for the price of one. Firstly, the bamboo tube is filled with small stones to create an excellent shaker. Secondly, the bamboo has been hand carved into shallow ridges to make a great sounding guiro. The instrument is supplied with a scraper and has been decorated with a technique of burnt etching.

These bamboo guiro/shakers are hand made in Bali using fast growing bamboo, as a result they do not effect the level of hardwood forests making their production more environmentally friendly.

Cas-cas or asalato – a traditional West African instrument. Cas Cas shakers are typically made from gourds filled with beans and are played in most African countries.

A super lightweight percussion instrument where one gourd is held in the hand and the other is swung from side to side around the hand to 'clack' against the first.
